Building a Better World Starts with Us
To make the world better, we have to become better people
In order to make the world a better place for everyone, we all need to do our part. We need to learn the value of compassion and kindness, of sharing and helping others.
Humans are social beings. We are all interconnected, and our very survival depends on holding each other close, and lifting each other up. We all inhabit this world together, and we are facing problems on the world level like poverty, racism, starvation, lack of healthcare and climate change. We need to start looking for solutions to all of the world’s problems, and to do this we need to come together.
In order to better ourselves for the betterment of humanity, we need to look inside ourselves to become the most loving and kind beings that we possibly can.
You can look at my blog for some of my latest tips on becoming your best self, by remembering your true nature of boundless love.
The more love we can find for ourselves within our own hearts, the more love we will be able to show to others as well. Caring for ourselves using self-care practices, and using meditation to create a spiritual foundation within our lives can help us to be at our best. This can help us to be able to give our best to others as well.
Today, I leave you with these words from The Prayer of St. Francis:
Lord, make me an instrument of Thy peace;
Where there is hatred, let me sow love;
Where there is injury, pardon;
Where there is error, truth;
Where there is doubt, faith;
Where there is despair, hope;
Where there is darkness, light;
And where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, Grant that I may not so much seek
To be consoled as to console;
To be understood as to understand;
To be loved as to love.
For it is in giving that we receive;
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned;
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
I hope that you find blessing and peace in this prayer the way that I do, and that you will be able to move forward in life with a deep sense of love always in your heart. A sense of boundless love is the best and brightest gift that we can give - both to ourselves and to those in our lives.
Have a blessed week, my lovelies!
