The last couple weeks I have been sick in bed with a nasty virus. It has had me coughing out my lungs and lying in bed. I finally got antibiotics though, and I am finding my way back to myself.
I have been holed up on the couch watching reality TV shows and trying to feel better.
Hopefully, this next week I will get to feeling back to myself, and I will be able to give you guys the attention that you deserve.
Have you ever had a time that you were down and out and just not feeling like yourself? We all go through these from time to time for various reasons. We can be stressed and overwhelmed, we can be sick, we can have decisions hanging over our heads.
Whatever the case, when you are feeling like life is just too much, it is important to give yourself time to rest, both mentally and physically. This way, you can prioritize self-care and make sure that you are feeling your best before you get back to all the responsibilities that life holds for you.
There may still be things that you need to do, like taking kids to school and making dinner. It is important to focus on those things that absolutely need to get done, but it is ok to let the rest slide for a little while if you are just not feeling it.
Take some time to work on your physical and mental health, so that you are ready to get back to your goals and doing all the things that make your life really meaningful.
