Where do you want to go in life? Do you have a clear vision laid out for yourself? If not, this is a great time to sit down and think about where you want life to take you.
I am starting off on a new road myself, today is the first day of my new job. Yep, I am back to a 9-5 routine, starting in about 15 minutes. To be honest, I am a bit nervous. I haven’t had a job for 6 months, and I feel rusty and out of practice.
We all feel that way sometimes, like we are a bit anxious and out of our wheel house. That is why it is so important to focus on your goals, and were you want to get to in life. When you have a clear vision, it is easier to be sure that you are on track.
Personally, I want to be able to do some traveling, and having a regular job will allow me to save up so that our family can take some trips and do some exploring around Europe in the coming year.
What goals and dreams do you have for yourself? What steps can you take today to ensure that you are on track?
Write it down, and get super clear on what you want. In the last couple of weeks, I have talked about setting intentions and making a plan for where you want to go. Make sure that you have done the same.
Setting intentions, especially going into a new month (or a new job!) can be so empowering. It allows you to be clear and focused, and make sure that you are going in the direction that you have chosen.
Once you have written out your intentions, you can break your goals down into smaller, more manageable pieces. You do this by taking your big overarching goal and breaking it down into a monthly, weekly, and daily goal list. That way, you are being very specific on what needs to be done when.
For a bigger look at goal setting, you can check out my e-book, Happy. Healthy. Rich. where I go into this in more detail.
After you have set your intentions and your goals, it is time to get to work, checking those boxes off throughout the day. I wish you all the best of luck making your dreams into a reality!
Have a great day,
