This way, you can start the new week with a clean slate. Ready to do what needs to be done during the work week.

We have a busy week this week. Gary’s mom is moving into her new house (on our new property) this Thursday. So, there is a lot that needs to be prepared before she gets here. He is finishing up some remodels, and her new kitchen is being installed on Monday.
This weekend has been a flurry of activity for us, so today while Gary works, I am taking some time to get our house cleaned up. I slept in, which I rarely do, since it was so busy yesterday.
Making sure to take some time for yourself is always a helpful way to ensure you are getting proper self-care. You can’t properly care for others if you are feeling depleted.
Some great ways to practice self-care this weekend are:
Pampering yourself with skincare or a hot bath
Doing your nails
Reading a good book
Meditation, yoga or mindfulness
Journaling
Planning out your goals for the week
Going for a walk in nature
Listening to some good music
Calling a friend
Or, anything else that makes you feel more like yourself. Whatever you decide to do for self-care today, make sure it is something that makes you feel relaxed and at ease.
