As we are beginning this Christmas week, I want to tell you all how grateful I am for all of you who read along with me on this newsletter! It really brightens my day to know that people are reading, and I hope that what I am writing is helpful for all of you!
If there are different topics you would like me to cover on here always feel free to let me know! I love hearing your comments.
I hope that you all have some lovely plans for this holiday week. Are you shopping or going to some parties this week?
I wish you all blessings on this 4th Advent.
May the holidays be filled with peace, love and joy for all of you! I hope that you and your family have the most lovely time possible!
And for those who don’t enjoy the holidays, know that my heart is with you too. I have been where you are, too. I spent years not celebrating the holidays because I didn’t have people in my life who made it easy to find love in my heart. Having a family of narcissists made it a sad time for me.
Others of you who are alone, I have been there too. There were Christmases I spent at home eating crackers and spray cheese watching reality shows by myself.
I know what it is like not to enjoy all the season, because your heart is breaking in pieces. I know what it is like to feel like this time of year just highlights everything that is going wrong, because you are sad when everyone else is happy.
My heart goes out to you most of all. I wish that someday the holidays can become bright and blessed for you too. I hope that you can find peace, and better people to share the holidays with.
As you are going through this season, remember that it is a time of giving.
There are so many who go without at this time of year. With the cold, the homeless suffer more than ever. Think about donating some food or coats for them.
If you are in Denver, you can donate to the Denver Rescue Mission.
For my friends elsewhere, I’m sure that there are charities that help the homeless there too, if you want to donate. You can also think about volunteering some of your time as well, if you don’t have any other way to give.
Again, thank you all for being a part of my online family. I appreciate all of you so much! I hope that you have a bright and blessed holiday season!
Be well my friends,
Nicole Dake
