Good Morning Lovelies,
I hope that everyone had a wonderful week this week! It was a quieter week for us here in Germany.
This was my second week of German Language courses, so I have been focused on that, and we have also taken River to the park several times. So, no major updates on the home front.
Since this newsletter is brand-new, this is going to be a short one.
As a mom of two girls (5&19) I have spent most of my adult life as a mom. So, whatever issues you are facing, I probably am at least a little bit familiar with them.
I write advice that is applicable to all age groups, and specific ages-and-stages tips as well. If you all let me know how old your kids are, I can work on tailoring my tips in this newsletter to your kids’ age group.
Also, if there are specific questions that you would like me to answer, I am happy to do that as well.
If you read my “about me” and “the why” posts, you will have a bit of an idea about why I started writing for moms.
Like I said earlier, I have been a mom for most of my adult life, so it is one of the defining features of who I am. Any time I make a decision, it isn’t just about me, it involves my partner and kids too.
My partner and I talk through all of our decisions together before we move towards a course of action. I really think that being on the same page as your partner with your parenting is so important. That way, you can provide a united front towards your kids and they won’t try to pit one of you against the other.
If you are divorced or in a solely co-parenting relationship, that can be difficult. Since I am divorced from my oldest’s dad, I get that too.
If some of you are single moms, stay at home moms, or working moms, I have been in all those situations at some point, and I can relate to your situations.
Right now, I am not “working” unless you count my writing. Our family has recently moved to Germany, and I am waiting on my employment visa so that I can start a traditional job again.
In the interim, I am enjoying some quality time with my family and exploring our new home.
So, now that you know a little bit about me, I would love to hear something about you as well! Let’s get to know each other so that I can make this newsletter as useful for you as possible!
Until next time, have a blessed week!
