In our busy lives, sometimes there is so much noise and hurry that you can’t find the time or space to think clearly. Learning to regularly quiet your mind can help you come up with more creative solutions to life’s challenges. You can think outside the box. You can come up with new ideas.
Every week you have the opportunity to do things differently than what you have done in the past. You can start building a new mindset, or new habits.
It takes us an average of 60 days to build a new habit, sometimes longer. So, the sooner you start, the better off you will be! There is no time like the present to grab life by the horns and take charge of your future. Today is always the best time to start.
You may not feel ready for what is coming in your next chapter, but that’s ok! If you wait to start when you are ready, the time may never come. That’s why it’s so important to start before you are ready, just start!
Some tiny habits you can start to work on your mindset today include:
Saying affirmations
Yoga
Meditation
Mindfulness
Journaling
Gratitude
Going for walks
Spending time in nature
You can start on something bigger too, whether it is a project that you want to complete, a new business, writing a book, or even your spring cleaning. Any kind of project is great to start this time of year when everything in the world is new and fresh.
Spring can give us a special sort of motivation, while the world is coming alive with beauty, we are coming more alive too with additional hours of sunlight in the day.
We may want to hibernate away the cold of winter and feel a lack of motivation. Spring can provide just the motivation you need to kickstart something new for yourself. You will thank yourself later that you did!
Have a blessed day!
