Good morning, lovelies! I had someone request to guest-post on my blog the other day, and it got me thinking I should open up some more guest spots. I write so often about Anxiety, PTSD and Depression, but I can only scratch the surface on other mental health conditions that I haven’t experienced first-hand.
So often in the Mental Health Community, we can share our lived experiences in order to help others who are going through something similar. There are coping skills we learn on our own, or in therapy, that can make a difference in someone else’s life who is struggling.
Much of the time, we have to advocate for our own mental health. Our mental healthcare system is strained and broken in many different ways, so navigating it can be difficult.
If you have useful mental health tips to offer those that are struggling, or who have children with a mental health condition, I would love to hear from you! Just send me an email with your proposed topic, and I will let you know if it sounds like a good fit for the blog.
The more we can share our stories and advocate for mental health, the more we can make positive change in reducing the stigma that society sees around those of us with mental health conditions. This in turn can promote better mental wellness and allow for healing in our communities.
Much of what we face comes from having to walk our path alone. But we don’t have to be alone. We can all support each other in some small way every day.
I look forward to hearing from you soon!
