Summer is a Great Time to Relax and Unwind
We are out of town again spending the week at the ocean
Summer is a great time to enjoy relaxing and unwinding with your family. We are spending this week at the Ostsee (the Baltic Sea) on the coast of Germany outside Hamburg.
The weather hasn’t been great with on and off rain, but we have been getting up early every day to go to the beach and beat the rain. It is a beautiful place here, with gazebo’s on the beach, and a beautiful boardwalk with a ferris wheel and a giant inflatable slide.
There is a ton for River and her friends to do here. We are here with another family, and have been enjoying our week here.
I hope that you all get a chance to do something fun this summer too! There are tons of things to do with the kids in the summer, even if you aren’t able to go out to the beach.

Spending time outdoors is a great way for the kids to be able to relax and enjoy the summer. Being outside in the sun is good for us as adults too. We can replenish our energy by getting outside.

It is good for your mental health to spend time outside. The sun and the water are good for your healing and your wellbeing. The more time you can spend outside this summer, the better it is for your mental health.
My Mental Health is Tied to the Seasons
You can learn more about how your health and wellness is determined through seasons at times. Summer is a great time to rest, go outside, and recharge your mental batteries. The more you can enjoy your summer and make some great memories, the more you will have to look back on to keep your spirits up when the dark winter days return.
